Our vision

We are pulling up our socks…

for a sustainable world.

An entire generation is shouting STOP! Climate change, however, cannot be stopped that easily. Each one of us needs to make a contribution and ensure a healthy planet is left for upcoming generations. What’s required is a rethink. A rethink away from industrial mass production in terms of much, fast and cheap and directed toward a sustained quality.

Many brands already have high quality standards but, due to their higher price segment, are frequently labelled as mere luxury goods. Our vision is to make these brands accessible to the general public and to offer excellent quality at an affordable price. The same applies to our private labels which are based on high standards with regard to quality and social aspects.

What you can do

Get a hold of your pocket calculator! Our generation grew up in a lifestyle of abundance, through no fault of our own. These days, we no longer know anyone mending their socks when they have a hole. We rather throw the socks away. And that’s just the arithmatic everyone can understand:

Cheap pair of socks

  • Bad working conditions
  • Hardly any production standards
  • Utilisation of obsolete or even polluting technologies

Shifting the attention from product to production, the gap is of equal size:

How many "cheap" pairs of socks can you buy instead of a quality pair of socks? Does mass production pay off against bad working conditions, the exploitation of the earth's resources and an uncomfortable fit on the foot? We disagree and, with our partners and customers, we move forward into a sustainable future.
